SECC is proudly announcing that Ms. Abeer Fouad Salah has been qualified as an authorized SCAMPI Lead Appraiser. Ms. Salah has over 17 years experience in software engineering and IT projects. She holds a BSc. of Engineering – Electrical Engineering major from Kuwait University in 1989, as well as a diploma from Cambridge University in Project Management in 2001.
To be an authorized SCAMPI Lead Appraiser, Ms. Salah passed through the following training path:
- Intro To CMMI course
- Intermediate Concepts of CMMI course
- SCAMPI Lead Appraiser Training
- All exams and assignments as per the SEI requirements
Ms. Salah attended, as an appraisal team member, several formal appraisals. She conducted her first formal appraisal under the observation of an SEI authorized observer, namely Mr. Charles Ryan who monitored the SCAMPI appraisal and coached her to be able to conduct appraisals as per the SEI defined method. She directly passed the observation although the direct passing percentage in SEI is 10% only.
