Training program on CMM® Prequalification for SMEs
 
SECC in collaboration with PfCE (Partners for a Competitive Egypt, a USAID funded project implemented by Pal-Tech) and DT2 (Development Training 2 project) organized a Twenty-Seven training days on a Five-Course program for the SMEs held during the period from 17 Jan. to 25 March , 2004 , and provided by ISGE (Industrial Systems & Global Enterprise).

 
Program Objectives
 
This program help participants to:
  • The Capability Maturity Model (CMM) is a model for judging the maturity of processes of an organization and for identifying the key practices that are required to increase the maturity of these processes. At the end of the program, participants will be able to use the management tools designed for the software industry to improve the competitiveness of their businesses. Participants will also be able to develop an action plan for achieving CMM certification.
 
Audience
  Companies fulfilling the following requisites:
  • Software development is a main business line.
  • Number of technical staff is less than 25 people.
Participants fulfilling the following requisites:
  • Company Owners.
  • Top Managers.
  • Middle Managers.
  • Analysts, designers, and developers having a minimum experience of 5 projects / products, and a maximum of 10 projects / products.
