SECC Event organized by ARCOM in Saudi Arabia
 
ARCOM (Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC) agent in Saudi Arabia) arranged for an event on Sunday June 8th 2008 in Riyadh for the promotion of CMMI methodology. The event has been under the patronage of his Excellency Dr. Mohammad Alsuwaiyel, president of King Abdalaziz City for Science & Technology, and with contribution from Microsoft Arabia. Both Dr. Yasser Dakroury & Dr. Amr Kamel, SECC quality experts, will represent the center.

The following major points have been addressed during the event:
  1. Development of highly predictable and reliable software systems using CMMI methodology (for developers).
  2. Preparing software projects RFP and specifications to guarantee functionality, cost, and time frame (for developers, consultants, and beneficiaries).
  3. Preparing documentation and metrics for acceptance measures of software systems developed by others (for beneficiaries).
