Lean Six Sigma for IT and Software Engineering – GREEN BELT
(10 day course - 2 Weeks)
The “Green Belt Six Sigma for IT and Software Engineering” training presents the detailed approach for successfully applying Six Sigma methods, DMAIC and DMADV, to Software. Two dimensions are considered:
- The Process: the Software Development, Maintenance and Implementation Process:
- Demonstrate how Six Sigma methods can be combined with Maturity-based models (CMMI®, SPICE and others) and how to accelerate Software Process Improvement Implementation. Show how to customize software process frameworks according to specific projects and domain areas.
- The Product: System and Solution Design and Engineering: Demonstrate how Six Sigma methods, tools and techniques are applied in conjunction with software engineering methods throughout the overall software development life cycle: Requirements, Architecture, Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Validation and Maintenance.
The course is delivered through a series of lectures and practical “hands-on” labs. Working in groups, participants use their actual projects to practice their skills and apply concepts and tools learned in class
