SECC contracts with 12 companies to Benefit from SPI for SMEs 2016 Program
Software Process Improvement for Small and Medium Enterprises (SPI for SMES) Program enrolls 12 ICT companies in this round which is flavored with innovation management. The propose is to enable organizations grasp core concepts to establish innovative organizational practices; and think out of the box and generate new ideas for new and existing products or services.
Over the past ten years, SECC has introduced its SPI for SMEs program aiming at helping Egyptian IT companies to achieve maturity and business success through improving software development and service delivery processes at low cost, with minimal risk and highest flexibility.
The program is supported by the SPI Guide which is an adaptable model of excellence in software development based on the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). SPIG encourages SMEs to follow a coherent process for software development. SPIG contains guidelines, procedures, and templates to facilitate software process improvement. SPIG has an associated electronic version that simplifies its full utilization as a toolkit to be used by software companies everywhere.
The participating companies are: Bright Information Systems, CITC, CIT Point, Data Link, Edrak, IT Smart, MAS Soft, Micro Hard Int., Micro Systems, Tech Org, TIE For IT, and X LAB.

SECC Completes MSEs 2015 Project Successfully
Under the auspices of H.E. Eng. Yasser ElKady, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the closure ceremony of Activate ICT Product Development for Micro and Small Enterprises Project witnessed the great success achieved by the project. The ceremony was attended by over 250 attendees from the different governmental organizations coming from 13 Egyptian governorates and the participating ICT companies in the project.
During the ceremony, that was held on April 4th, H.E. Eng. Yasser ElKady, Ms. Asmaa Hosny the CEO of ITIDA and Dr. Hossam Osman the Chairman of SECC & ITIDA Vice President honored the top ten companies and their respective clients for their outstanding performance during the project duration.
During the celebration, all the participating companies that succeeded were awarded certificates of completion; and three out of the top ten companies presented on their success stories.

Specialized Solutions company, 700 Apps company, and SANAtech company recognized SECC consultants Sherif Salah, Yasser Ghanim, Sally Hassan and Mohamed Hassan for their professionalism and excellence in delivering the required consultation services of the Software Process Improvement (SPI) for SMEs Program 2015 round.
After surveying the twelve participating companies in 2015 round, SECC received an excellent feedback about the consultation and training services delivered through its qualified experts. Since the program started in 2006, 148 companies benefited from the program.
