This work package disseminates and exploits RECOCAPE results taking into account the variety of communication means and wide spectrum of beneficiary groups. This is done in alignment with SECC's role as a catalyst for the software and ICT industry in Egypt and in support of its vision as a leading organization that enhances the quality, efficiency, and innovation level of ICT industry players to improve their global competitiveness with the resulting social and economical benefits. The work package proposes measures that take advantage of SECC's wide communication network that links to ICT NGOs, academic institutes, policy makers, ICT business players, and reputable international organizations. The proposed measures also take advantage of SECC's current capacities as being (i) the coordinator of Egypt-SPIN (Software Process Improvement Network) published as a node within the worldwide SPIN by the Software Engineering Institute ( SEI ) of Carnegie Mellon University, (ii) the publisher of the biannual referred International Journal of Software Engineering (IJSE) that provides a forum for the state-of-the-art research in the different fields of software engineering, and (iii) an active member on boards as the Egyptian Software Testing Board (ESTB).

Two main adopted mechanisms for dissemination and exploitation of RECOCAPE results are (i) implementing a cluster project that targets transferring knowledge and building capacity of 4 key Egyptian ICT business players through training and collaborative R&D pilot projects, and (ii) organizing for the first time in Egypt, Africa, and the Mediterranean countries a software process improvement conference, the EuroMed SPI. The EuroMed SPI is a Software Process Improvement conference for southern and eastern Europe and the Mediterranean countries. It is created by TECNALIA and the Software Engineering Institute ( SEI ) of Carnegie Mellon University . It was first organized in Sofia , Bulgaria in 2010. At least one conference session is dedicated to the underlying embedded ubiquitous computing technologies.

This work package includes 3 tasks: Dissemination, Exploitation Cluster Project, and EuroMed SPI 2012.
