SECC/ITIDA IBM Rational Program Phase II
   
 
SECC has provided many programs aiming at supporting acceleration of the software industry in Egypt. This is the second phase of a program that provides IBM Rational technologies to Egyptian software companies. The second phase targets supporting 40 companies. It also includes value-added services as technical training, consultation, support, and certification of human resources. The beneficiary companies of the first phase are encouraged to apply.

SECC's objectives in this regard are:
  • Provide software companies with legal development infrastructure toolsets that facilitate adhering to best practices in software engineering while operating on state-of-the-art technologies
  • Build capacity of software companies
  • Reduce skill mismatch and fill in the market gap between available and needed resources
  • Increase companies' competitive advantage and hence Egypt's share in offshore outsourcing
