In October 2008, SECC participated for the third time in GITEX Dubai 2008 as part of its new approach to export its expertise and services to the Middle East and Africa.
Through participating in the Egyptian Pavilion, sponsored by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), SECC representatives were able to meet many customers to market for SECC services professionally. As a result, a number of entities expressed their interest in cooperating with SECC in obtaining specialized training courses as well as joining the CMMI journey.
